Born in Dec 1980, Gary Innes is from Spean Bridge in the Highlands of Scotland and has been playing music professionally since 2003. He released his first album "How's the Craic" in 2005 under the Skipinnish label and since has started his own record label PDP (Purple Dougal Production) with best friend and co-owner Ewan Robertson. The boys released their own album"Shouts" in April 2009 under PDP which has featured in many radio stations World wide and on a BBC Sports programme since it's release. The album was also BBC Radio nan Gaidheal's album of the month in May 09. Gary is also part of the acclaimed super group Box Club which has 4 of Scotland's finest young accordion players with a rhythm section of Double Bass, Guitar and Kit. The guys took out their debut album entitled "Box Club" in 2008 and have been widely in demand ever since.

Gary has been fortunate enough to travel the World since 03 with some unbelievable tales,tours and travel. America,China, Kazakhstan,Europe to name a few but some highlights would be performing for a World Peace concert in Amman, Jordan for the Royal Family and his stints with Scots Legend's Runrig. In 2007 Gary featured on the front cover of Runrig's new album "Everything you See"  swinging his Caman which went straight to No1 in the Scottish Charts and put Runrig back on the map as one of Scotlands best loved bands :) 

Outside of music Gary is a Scottish Internationalist at Shinty and plays for Camanachd Cup Champions Fort William. He is fortunate enough to hold every senior medal in Shinty and captained his side to a famous victory over local rivals Kilmallie in 2005 where he scored the second goal and won the Albert Smith man of the match award. He has also been lucky enough when not playing in cup finals to help commentate for the BBC on their live matches usually featured on BBC2.

Gary is also a Fire Fighter with in the Highlands and Islands Fire & Rescue Service since 1999 and also a First Responder with the Scottish Ambulance Service. You could find yourself watching him at a gig, the next helping you out the ditch in the space of an hour. Gary also presents Road Safety seminars to young drivers throughout the Highlands and Islands on the implications/dangers of Speeding and Road Safety for the Fire Service.
