Happy New Year

Happy New Year folks, I hope 2011 is as exciting and healthy for you as 2010 was.

With a new year bring new challenges, and this year starts pretty hectic with the release of Mànran’s single “Latha Math”. Our aim is to be the first band of the 21st century to get a gaelic song into the UK top 40. Some may say we are peeing into the wind, however we are pulling out all the stops to try and make this ambitious effort successful. The song will be released on itunes and other downloadable sites from January 17th, and fingers crossed by the 23rd we will all be ceilidh stars haha.

We are also very excited to be launching the single on Saturday 16th January in Glasgow’s ABC as part of Celtic Connections. A show not to be missed.

I hope to see you all very soon on the road, in the pub or at a gig, and here’s to a fantastic 2011 ahead.
