The Hurling Man

It gives me the greatest of pleasure to announce the launch of my latest single called The Hurling Man. The Hurling Man is all about Ireland’s famous sport, Hurling and celebrates our wood swinging brothers who hold a different caman. As some of you may know, I was the Scotland shinty captain the last time Scotland won at Croke Park and having played in the famous stadium on a number of occasions against Ireland’s finest hurlers, I looked around the stadium and hill 16 and thought, wouldn’t it be brilliant to write a song that people could sing about hurling in this stadium and others around the country. And so after many years and a global pandemic, here is The Hurling Man. Recording this song also gave me the privileged position to work alongside Irish musical royalty in Don Stiffe and Sharon Shannon on the track. The single will be launched on Friday 13th August and will be available on all music platforms.
