Kazakhstan 07

Hey folks, Just returned from Kazakhstan on the 31st Jan where we were playing for oil companies to raise money for a blind school which we opened when we were there and for an orphanage down in Mahambet which is where there famous kazak poet came from (our version of burns). We raised between the 2 events and other dates $111000 which is an incredible amount of money and well done to everyone who made it possible to make such a huge difference to so many lives.

We were also on local television twice and national once because of the nature of the trip which was great and we were treated like kings and queen’s for 2 weeks.

So just a huge thanks again to Andy,Kevin,Colin,Mark,Rudi,Ian and many many more for your craic,drams stories and nonsense.

P.S If the drams are flying as much next year then the funds will be going towards a new liver for me! 🙂
